Some commonly asked questions

  • What happens if I want to change web companies or want to try and do it myself?
    • We have no problem with you changing companies.  When you sign up for our service, you retain all copyrights on any material that is created for your site.  If you do decide to discontinue our services, we do retain your login/password for 90 days after termination of service in the event you decide to come back.
  • Do you keep backups of my website?
    • Yes we do.  All websites are backed up to our local server in Independence, IA.
  • How do I get access to my email?
    • You have two different options.  One is going to http://www.your-domain.com/email and accessing it via the web.  You may also access it via popular email clients such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird; you can go into our electronic library to print instructions for setting them up for this.
  • If my website is not done, how am I able to check my email?
    • When your domain and hosting is registered and paid for, you domain will be live within a matter of minutes.  Within 24 hours it will be available worldwide.  Your email accounts are the first priority.  You may choose your email account name during Step 2.  Your email address will be (your selection  of the first part) This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
  • I see the roundcube login, but I can't get it to work.  What do I do?
    • If you have forgotten your email address password, don't worry.  Just log onto yourdomain.com/email.  On this page you will see a password recovery link that will be sent to the backup email address when you signed up for our services. 
    • If for some reason this does not work just email us; we can reset your password and send you a new one.
  • What do you mean you will "teach" me how to use my website?
    • We use several different mainstream technologies that allow us to teach our clients how to edit their own sites.
  • How do I access my site to edit it?
    • At the bottom of each page will be an Administrator Login link.  That is how you access your site.  When you first sign up with us, you will be sent an email containing your login/password.
  • I forgot my username/password to edit my site, what do I do???
    • Click on your administrator login link.  Depending on which one you lost, click on the appropriate link.  You will be asked to put in the original email you used when you signed up with us.  A verification link will be sent to that email to reset your password or remind you of your username.
